Most dogs (and many cats) stay on leash during the session, and that’s perfectly normal. Their comfort and safety always come first.
During editing, I remove leashes, harnesses, and even humans if needed. This is how we create clean, natural, distraction-free portraits that look polished and professional.
Your pet doesn’t need to “behave.”

Your dog’s comfort is the heart of every session. We move slowly, gently, and with plenty of play, treats, and breaks.
Some dogs sit right away.
Some wiggle the whole time.
Some need to sniff every corner first.
It’s all normal and all welcome.
I follow your dog’s rhythm so we can capture natural expressions, joy, curiosity, and every little spark that makes them who they are.
One day the toys will be put away, the paws will stop tapping across the floor, and life will feel a little quieter.
But the love, the personality, and the little daily moments don’t have to fade.
That’s why these portraits matter.

About two weeks later, you’ll see the images that feel most like them, their personality, their expressions, the look that’s just for you.
We’ll explore simple ways to keep those moments close.
You only choose
what feels meaningful.
Your session fee of $300 reserves your date and includes a planning call, your pet-led photo session, and the time and care that goes into hand editing each image. It also includes a beautifully matted 8×10 fine art print as my gift to you.
Each image is carefully hand edited to remove distractions and refine color, light, and detail—so you can remember your pet at their very best for years to come.
After your session, you’ll choose the images you love most and how you’d like to enjoy them in your home. Most families choose one of my collections, which include digital images along with thoughtfully designed ways to enjoy them—so your pet’s story becomes something you can revisit and live with every day.
Collections typically range from $800–$2000, depending on how many images you love and how you’d like to experience them in your home.
You don’t need to decide anything upfront. We’ll go through your images together and choose what feels right for you, whether that’s a collection or something more custom. There’s never any pressure. You simply choose what you love.
Every pet shows up the way that’s natural to them:
shy, wiggly, anxious, curious, senior, or full of zoomies.
That’s not a problem. That’s the point.
There’s no pressure to sit, stay, or perform.
We take breaks, we use treats, we slow down when we need to.
We follow their rhythm.
Because the goal isn’t a perfect pose.
It’s capturing who they really are.
My job isn’t just to take pictures of your pet —
it’s to help you hold onto who they are.
If the images don’t feel like them — their personality,
spirit, or heart — we’ll revisit, reshoot, or redesign
until it does.
